Big news here: my next book of poems, The Grace of Distance, will be published by Louisiana State University Press in Fall 2019.
I’m thrilled to be working again with Ava Leavell Haymon, editor of LSU’s Barataria Poetry Series, and all the kind, talented people at LSU Press. I'm excited to have two poems featured in the July issue of New Limestone Review. Thanks so much to the editors for publishing "They" and “The Boot,” two poems from my new book project.
Poems from this manuscript are also forthcoming in Cave Wall, Field and Poetry Northwest. I’m now sharing photo updates on Instagram, including the occasional new poem, publishing updates, happy snaps from the garden (and the Garden State), and more. Follow @thorburnpoet to see them.
